DW II Painting

My paintings begin with my favourite palette knife in hand and a visceral need to create. Inspiration comes from my inner life & spiritual journey. The creative process offers me the opportunity to integrate my life. I work with a cornucopia of mixed media including sand, pastes, gels, iridescent pigments, spray paint, collage and liquid acrylics on canvas. My intuition guides me as I both apply and take away layers. Hours, days, and sometimes months later, the final painting emerges; with its own story and the healing gift of its creation, energetically imbued with its own salubrious frequency.
