Dancing in circles Painting

I spent my first years of life in West Berlin, where my parents romped through the scene in the era of songwriters and colorful clothes. I spent my childhood on adventure playgrounds and enjoyed the anti-authoritarian education in the divided city. What was to become of me? Social worker or freelance artist; today I am both. Back in the West, I went first to Hamm and then to Soest. My eye and sense of harmony was shaped by my father, who was a photographer. For many years I basically moved with darkroom and the beloved Nikon is still often my companion. In Soest, well-known artists like Hans Kaiser aroused my curiosity and the desire to try it myself with brush and paint. But only in the 90s it was Hannelore Busch, Düsseldorf artist and master student of Beuys and Grote, who set in me the impulse to paint freely. I have started a journey in practising art and this process will never be finished. Today I find myself in abstract painting and have the necessary self-confidence to fill large canvases.
