About The Artwork
Sometimes these egrets like fishing in the shadows so that their prey can not see them. They are quite striking when you see their bright white color against the darkness of the shaded pools of wooded ponds and streams. This particular piece was painted in acrylic over a canvas that had been previously prepared with a layer of molding paste and bead gel. The art continues around the sides so that a frame is not needed. It is wired on back and ready to hang.
