Olesya Shor is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who works in oil, acrylic paint, charcoal, or serigraphy technique. She creates unique compositions using contrast shapes, colors, or technique combinations that entice the viewer to use their imagination. Her artworks are about seeking emotional light, energy and changing dark feelings into positive ones. Olesya believes in art therapy as a part of personal growth, while she is deeply keen on psychology. "I truly believe art is a heart-to-heart way of communication. Art helps us to understand ourselves through our reflections and find our inner power if it is needed. There's no place for indifference while it is based on personal reflections. Art heals minds." Olesya was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since she was able to hold a pencil she started her way into the arts. Olesya finished a few art schools in Kyiv. Music school graduation helped to open another level of art sensuality. She moved to Cracow, Poland, and graduated from Cracow School of Arts. Olesya got her second diploma in Fine Arts & Graphic faculty at Cracow Pedagogical University. Till 2021 she was working as a Head Fashion Designer & Graphic in Luxury Brand, however, she missed painting so much and decided to go back to the art roots.
