Depth Painting

Being a mixed media artist, and in spirit an artist-researcher who combines different techniques and modern materials, such as spray paint with a classic style of painting, the glazing technique was used in this work. When another layer of paint is applied on a dried layer of paint in a thin layer and at the same time the main tone of the color changes towards a warm or cold shade. Masters of the old school, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Netherlandish artists, Flemish masters, all used this technique until the 20th century in their work to obtain the desired color or tone. I accidentally applied this technique while doing one of the previous works, applying a thin layer of gray paint on a bright blue color, thereby creating a shadow. I liked this effect, and I decided to continue the experiment in another work. The result is in front of you.
