My name is Illustre Feccia (Illustrious Scum) is a poetically provocative oximoron, an expression of the absurd nature of the things. It 's essentially my art manifest. I was born in 1984 in the province of Pistoia (Tuscany) in Italy, the land where years ago scampered the little rebel Pinocchio. I studied at Istitute of art Petrocchi in Pistoia, where I graduated in 2003/2004 and I did a tesi about Surrealism. I did my first exibition in Modena, then in Viareggio, then in Montecatini. In 2006 I studied at Accademy of digital Arts Nemo in Florence where I started studing illustration, and where I met Silvicius, and Ilaria Guarducci and Freno per sciacalli. In 2011 I moved to London doing more disparate works and studing art. In London I met Moallaseconda, Mike Fedrizzi and the Minesweeper Collective. My artwork is essentially illustration on paper and on the wall. I start by using pencils and then use brushes and water colours to create my artwork. I love using black and white with a base colour underneath. My source of inspiration is Avant Garde and Post Romanticism art and Punk culture. All of these artistic movements have been inspired by Nihilistic and Libertarian philosophy, both philosophies which I feel are reflected in much of my art. I try to create a atmosphere where I make a contrast between the past (with a particular emphasis on historical events such as industrials revolutions) and current life in addition to sketching in some metamorphic subjects. Symbolically this represents my criticism of the world and of Positivist,Bourgeoisie,Christian and modern Western thought. Illustrious Scum
