About The Artwork

A homage to the classic episode of Seinfeld, when Elaine chooses men thinking of the number of sponges she has left. The color of the painting really reminds to Jerry's humor.

The path to enlightenment through art mixing spirituality and pop culture. At age 29 I experimented a spiritual awakening and it was translated, among other issues, in the development of an artwork. I was moved to mix spiritual matters with pop culture, because this was the way I reached illumination: following the light that glows in popular culture: movies, music, video games, trends magazines, etc. Now I feel I reached a point of conclusion, a moment where the artwork lands in a concrete way, having passed through many stages. I used many types of techniques; now I feel confortable using marker on paper, as a small kid that paints in school.
