Distant Lights Painting

Tim Noble is a contemporary artist and painter working in London. His background in Fine Art and Graphic Design informed his work as a multidisciplinary Advertising Creative Director and Writer. His ability to create highly finished pieces in film and print has transitioned from his early love and experimentation with figurative work towards more abstract and dramatic compositions. “Drawing inspiration from music, my works explore the tension between structure and spontaneity. They’re an exploration of pattern and mark making—building up richly textured backgrounds and multiple layers, expressive brushstrokes, splashes of vivid colour and marks. A visual interpretation of the sounds I hear.”
