ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Disturbances Concept: One of the basic elements of creative ability is the feeling of dissatisfaction with the outside world. The need to introduce an entirely different set of meanings to a pictorial plane is a reaction to the visual repetition of message communication and it can be realized only when the attention ceases to be paid to accepted contexts or they are subjected to a distortion. Fostered by the surrounding images, personal imaginations, associations that are moving, are different from what we the instruments of public communication undoubtedly show us, from what we see on them. In spite of not providing security in content judgments, but the variety of comparisons and the ability to show different phenomena in a similar way, it is sometimes necessary to accept alternative procedures to get to where the rationalism, common sense or logic can never lead us. Thus, a new dimension in the picture is created, a new dialogue is established within a personality with an orientation toward what can arise in the future more than the answer to the present situation. The significance can be understood if we see the awakening of a different role of the painting. Work process: It can be said that the painting technique is monotype, which in this case was obtained by printing a color from the matrix to the canvas. The matrix has been made of cardboard with a dent created by removing the surface layer and impregnating the entire surface. The painting process in this graphic technique of a kind is that the outcome of applying the paint on the matrix according to the plan, during transmission, with different pressure, results in a coincidence that entails unforeseen solutions. Consequently, each "impression" is different, surprising and unrepeatable, and the painting process is present as in the classic construction of paintings in layers, but is deprived of a personal stroke, a trail that is left by a brush, as a kind of individual signature by which the author is recognized. Such a distance from personal feature and submission to an intuitive assumption of opportunity becomes a game with an uncertain end. In this case, "disturbances" are not only expected but welcome. From the series of painting “Disturbances” this has an aluminum decorative frame.
