Do you hear this little music? The wild wind from Brittany. A territoiry where the sea tells you can dance and breath. This painting is like a journal diary ,writing during my journey in Brittany.

Visual artist, videographer and collagist, also trained at the theater school, Elodie Huré, aka EloH is expressed primarily through painting. With movement for constant and common denominator, Eloh reveals sensations, feelings related to people, particular situations or moments of her existence. Nothing is absolute in this evocation which is expressed between figuration and abstraction: joy meets melancholy, calm and serenityadapt to violence, chiaroscuro defies light,in compositions where nothing asserts itself, everything suggests itself in the uncertain halo of a daydream. Élodie Huré excels in the work of color, which she uses of the energy or reserve it wishes to boost. By touches, she establishes a relationship with dance and music and establishes a parallel with our essence and which can only be expressed through silence. Like a private diary, Eloh's delicate work is revealed on canvas or on paper, where she explores the universe, the energy and the force of the elements that she sublimate. Born in Brittany, she retains from this anchorage an attraction for romanticism, for the earth, the power of the elements and the violence of words. An already certain taste for image and material springs from the nicknames granted to her: Pauline Carton and Mimi Cracra. From a very young age, she became aware of the history of art, the lights of sunsets, as well as the aspect of small "tinkered" things, which she now reuse. In this small world, borrowed from obsessions, the figures, between mutism and dyskinesia, dance on the fields of the intimate to the sound of one and the same melody, that of a violent poetry, sweet melancholy, theater of life . Today, Elodie Huré continues her pictorial research in her Brussels studio. First, tasks, lively, incisive gestures, done with a brush or by hand. Then shapes, characters appear, disappear, to the sound of repentance. Music is omnipresent, the artist dances and sings in front of his canvas: "My practice is inseparable from a trance."
