About The Artwork
This original painting is inspired by the Oregon coast-but not any place in particular. I love the wildness and raw beauty of the Oregon beaches-how often you are the only person there especially during a storm. "Diving Beneath the Waves", to me, is about metaphorically seeing large waves coming towards you and deciding to avoid the worst of them by diving below. The painting has metallic paint in the foreground and is signed, dated, sealed with a varnish and ready to hang.
