Stefano DM, a prominent artist on the contemporary scene, was born in Caserta in 1975. Since childhood, he has shown a deep passion for graphic design and illustration, venturing fervently into these disciplines. After a solid training as a Graphic Designer at the Istituto Superiore di Design in Naples and ILAS, he established himself in the creative sector with an innovative vision. In 2016, driven by an irrepressible desire for evolution, Stefano DM embarked on a new artistic path, oriented towards accessibility and the dissemination of visual culture. His admiration for pop-art, in particular the aesthetics of Andy Warhol and the bold use of a primary colour palette, becomes the core of his artistic expression. With the ArtHole project, Stefano DM stands out as one of the pioneers in Italy in transforming iconic comic book characters, cult films and works of fiction into artistic elements through the technique of mixed media. This initiative not only revisits pop culture, but reinterprets it in an original and provocative key. Continuing on its path, the GreenPopArt project marks a further step towards sustainability. Stefano DM uses exclusively recycled paper and natural colours, addressing sensitive and relevant issues such as environmental protection and social activism. His works thus become tools for reflection and discussion, inviting the public to question topical issues. His latest project, which bears his name, represents the synthesis of a rich and varied artistic career. In this work, Stefano DM returns to his roots, creating drawings that, although born digitally, are transformed into unique works thanks to a meticulous craftsmanship process. With a decisive and unmistakable style, each canvas becomes a manifesto of his aesthetic and conceptual research. Stefano DM is not just an artist, but an innovator who continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art, making his creations accessible and meaningful to an ever wider audience.
