Don't Tell Me No Painting

Continuing on from a peripatetic childhood spent immersed in drawing, painting and colouring in I now refer back to those pursuits, using a variety of mediums and surfaces to explore variously topics such as wanderlust, impermanence and belonging through the lens of my colour soaked and frequently playful images.​ From an Irish German background I spent my early years living across the Middle East and Southern Europe before moving to London intending to study painting. But side-tracked by a chance encounter I spent a couple of decades or so in the music business as an artist manager before finally picking up my studies and graduating with an MA Fine Art from the Reading School of Art. I now live and work in Edinburgh.
