This is a fun, impactful, playful and large abstract painting that's a part of my dot grid series which is inspired by repetative structures that seem perfectly uniform from a distance, but show more irregularity when observed closely; like the repetitive chemical structures of solid materials like salts, crystals or polymers. Or like, fence posts or woven fabrics. Its textural and rich, a mixture of oil and acrylic on canvas, with hints of an under drawing peeking through, sure to add lots of dimension to any room. It can be hung in any direction. Gallery-wrapped sides are painted a bright blue.
