Drawing To A Close Painting

This is an abstracted acrylic landscape that is not of any place in particular. My color palette is definitely changing with the coming fall. I love the richness of the colors and played them up with a bit of metallic under the layers. It is painted as an attempt to organize what is going on my head. I work on many small pieces at the same time, turning them in all directions-building layers of paint over many days. I consider them finished when looking at them brings me a sense of calmness. It is signed and dated and finished with a varnish. It has a painted edge and is ready to hang or place on a shelf. These small paintings look great hanging in multiples, too!
