A suspended psychological landscape where time no longer moves. Figures and guardians emerge through a frozen carousel of memory, innocence and subconscious desire. The work explores the fragile boundary between dream, ritual and eternal stillness.

Simi Gatenio is a contemporary Greek artist based in Thessaloniki. His work explores mythology, psychology, symbolic systems and the subconscious through painting, drawing and mixed media. Winner of the Saatchi Art Showdown Prize "Art Paris" 2011. Through interconnected series of paintings and drawings, Gatenio constructs psychological environments where architecture behaves like memory, systems acquire symbolic presence and organic forms exist between technology, transformation and decay. Drawing from archetypal imagery, personal mythology and spatial illusion, his works combine dystopian atmospheres, layered structures and cinematic compositions that invite multiple interpretations.
