Dripping Effect Painting

Cheng Xiaobei is a highly appreciated painter from China. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions both in China and abroad. Her works are in public and private collections in many countries, one of which is the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. She is also the curator of the renown Shangyuan Art Museum in Beijing and a well know poet and novelist, award-winning photographer. She has been painting for more than three decades. She uses the brush to show things in her mind which she wouldn't be able to show otherwise. She was stuck in Germany after her winter European trip hastily ended by the pandemic. Her works during this period reflected this new condition of her life as being stranded in a foreign land under some difficult circumstances.
