Painted from memory, some notes and a really bad photo that I took as night fell, and a little squall moved over Little Deadman's Bay, on the South Coast Track, Tasmania, where I was working, building walking track for a week.  
The moonlight through the misty rain cloud on the water was amazing!
Hopefully the photo captures a sense of this.  

This painting was exhibited at the South Australian Museum, as a finalist of The Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize.
