ECHO Series 1.2 (Forbidden Fruit v08) Painting

I am a self-taught artist based in Manitoba, Canada, with a background in physics. I began creating art from a persistent curiosity: what if Einstein had painted his 1905 papers instead of writing them? Could complex ideas about the universe carry the same weight on canvas as they do in scientific publication? Through abstraction, surrealism, and symbolism, I explore how matter, energy, and consciousness converge to create meaning. My work moves between the cosmic and the introspective, referencing spacetime, subconscious memory, and the contradictions of contemporary life. Drawing from art history and personal observation, I examine humanity’s enduring search for the unknown. For me, art visualizes questions that resist certainty and reflects how imagination emerges from the same fundamental forces that shape the universe.
