María José is a Mexican\ Italian Artist based on Tijuana,Baja California. At the age of 14 María José started her own creative journey in which she experimented with new techniques with a variety of materials, creating a rather abstract and colorful style for a couple of years, until, at the age of 20, she changed the direction towards the landscaping and later to surrealism. Maria is currently working on a series of surreal paintings called "Exotic fish in the sky", among other realistic works. María José is also a Filmmaker, actress, writer and director, she graduated with honors from Vancouver Film School in 2017.
