This series was inspired by a trip to Cambria, California. A dear friend and I spent two days combing the beach for sea glass. One of the days the tide was coming in quickly, but we were determined to stay the course, and got soaked as the waves chased us back up the beach. As with all of my gallery wrapped seascapes, this piece is signed up the right side, as opposed to the front. If you would like it signed on the front, that can be done prior to shipping. This un-stretched canvas arrives rolled in a tube, to be stretched on to bars at your local framer.

"Art and music are to my soul, as food and water are to my body. I believe that they are two of God's most precious gifts to His children. As the author and giver of creativity, through these gifts, He has given us a portion of Himself. He created the very first canvas, magnificently painted it, and brought it to life" I am a full time artist, working primarily on canvas, and paper. Definitely a colorist, I believe I have the heart of an Abstract Expressionist, or even more accurately, an Action Expressionist. Each painting is a journey, dictated by primarily by my current thoughts and emotions, be they happy, sad, peaceful or frenzied. It is a mysterious relationship, and is thrilling when the painting finally reveals itself, and our private journey becomes a story to share. In December of 2013, I opened Kimberly Conrad Contemporary Art Gallery, a 700 square foot space in Denver, Colorado. I am in the Capitol Hill area in a charming building built in 1906. My gallery overlooks the 7th avenue restaurant district, and provides beautiful city views. I am blessed to have a studio in the same building, as well as a beautiful home studio, for those snowy winter days. I endeavor to translate my love of life, and the absolute bliss of creating through my art.
