This painting is a play on the concept of Mother Earth, who is ultimately a nurturing and protective force encapsulating our beautiful planet, but more and more we see destructive forces in our world, in every country, from north to south , east to west; a force that is driven by huge the commercial interests of money and greed. The dirty business of war is now affecting everyone everywhere. The never ending story of unrest and anti-peace, women and children put last. Mother Earth is the muther-fucker who now holds the climactic grenade, which she will let off once those in power have destroyed, or allowed others to destroy, our earthly balances, our peacful intents,and the very substances of our eco-structures.
