About The Artwork
The vegetal universe is one of my favorite themes, I think that the forest is able to express the part of mystery that is in us, especially in the dark parts that it shelters. I make light coexist in different forms, by very clear keys more or less extended. Here, a whole set of transparent shapes suggests an aquatic plane dotted with plants or leaves that are treated in a more abstract way than figurative, making the surface to the ground subject to interpretation on its real nature. In the background, I painted shapes and colors evoking leaves of trees that are also not explicit in their meaning. The blue at the top suggests an opening on a sky that merges with the distant environment. The apparent poetry of this landscape arouses the imagination by revealing hidden dimensions at first sight. https://youtu.be/RWiwEV1l5ok
