ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece evolved over time as an action painting. I was experimenting with different paints and tools for mark-making. Once the ‘background’ shapes were painted, I realised that it had a feel of the desert, and the shapes were reminiscent of pyramids, so I call it Egypt.
