In my artwork I try to subvert the routine order of things. I bring to the canvas ideas and stories that, partially inspired by mythologies, narratives, audiovisual landscape or the environment and its climate change problem, I use as a basis for my representation which proposes everyday elements and objects in decontextualized situations, desolate, metaphysical, almost artificial landscapes with a certain atmosphere of mystery and subtle humor; an imagined and dreamed-of nature. The purpose of this is to generate focus on the subject of my interest: human emotions and their conditions and relationships with nature. Color weaves together this development, in a frank and bold way, shaping the representation and creating a small family of colors that harmonize with each other. My series “Trees”, a figure that represents the human being, and the treetop are the dreams and ideas instead of leaves. “Alice in wonderland” , another series of my own, where I let me go playing with the famous story and the psychedelic time of music and creations . A critical view over the contemporary relationships in times of social media networks is reflected on the series called “Chat”. My series called "The Seas of the Moon", takes its name from the so-called, by early astronomers, Seas of the Moon, large valleys that were believed they were beds of ancient seas.Worked by my imagination, these names and their characteristics give shape to the series, which is characterized by make up an atmosphere where it stands out the main element and protagonist, the apple, as an allegory that represents facts of reality, suggestions of those names and even come to represent human emotions and their conditions I told before, and our planet and its problems as well. I would say that I work from a reasoned imagination.
