Elk Horn Painting

I was hiking in the Elkhorn mountains of Montana during shedding season - elk and deer shed their antlers to grow a new set each year. I had just crossed Crow Creek on a fallen tree. I looked up to a barbwire fence and a six-point elk horn was hanging, stuck in the wire. The elk stuck his antler in the fence and walked away without it. I looked for the mate, they usually shed them at the same time, but I did not find it. Elk represents stamina, the brown is safety. Turquoise is the natural balance between Earth and sky.
