"Emotional charge Ions." Painting

I am Ismael Garcia Burillo, a multidisciplinary artist and craftsman originally from Spain raised and educated in Venezuela, with a blend of Pasiega and Asturian heritage. My journey in the world of art and craftsmanship began early, influenced by my family's background in traditional crafts such as woodworking and pottery. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to encounter numerous mentors and experiences that have shaped my artistic path, leading me to explore various mediums including painting, ceramics, and sculpture.

Driven by a deep curiosity for the intersection of art and spirituality, my work often reflects themes of introspection, transcendence, and the interconnectedness of all things. Drawing inspiration from surrealism, onirism, and the Bauhaus movement, I seek to create pieces that resonate on both aesthetic and metaphysical levels.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I am also a passionate educator, sharing my knowledge and skills with others through workshops and classes in ceramics, painting, and creative processes. Currently based in Cebreros, a serene village nestled in the province of Ávila, Spain, I continue to explore new artistic horizons while fostering a sense of community and connection through my work.
