The canvas bursts with an explosion of energy, capturing the intensity of the creative process. This abstract painting is a vibrant display of life and movement, reflecting the artist's passion and spontaneity. Dominating the composition is a soothing and ethereal light blue. The serene hue fills the canvas, evoking a sense of calm and tranquility. Its delicate presence provides a captivating backdrop for the energetic display of colors that follow. A rich and diverse range of subtle and deep green dances across the canvas, intertwining with one another and seem to flow and pulse with an inner life, exuding a natural and organic energy. Amidst this lively interplay of blues and greens, scattered throughout the canvas, one can find a few small black spots. These dark accents punctuate the composition, adding contrast and intrigue to the harmonious palette. They appear as if created spontaneously, like fleeting thoughts in the artist's mind, perfectly blending into the vibrant tapestry of colors. The entire painting is a testament to the artist's energy and boldness. Each brushstroke reflects the raw emotion and vitality of the creative moment, creating a captivating symphony of light blue, various greens, and occasional black accents. The artwork invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the dynamic energy and embrace the sense of freedom that comes from this abstract expression of colors.

I was born in Paris. Now I live and work in Le Vésinet, in the Yvelines area of France, where I have opened a gallery and studio in 2017. My favourite subject is the portrayal of landscapes. The abstract is always present in my work to a greater or lesser degree depending on the series of paintings. I would define my work as “abstract representation”. I like to inspire each person’s imagination so that they can experience the landscape in their own way, in a way which belongs only to them. My paintings never have an evocative title, just a reference, which allows complete freedom in their interpretation. Each canvas I begin is an adventure. When I work I release my emotions in layers of colour, one on top of the other; it is a sort of dialogue with the canvas. Generally (undoubtedly to escape from the anxiety caused by the blank canvas) I begin my paintings with large swathes of black, scraping and allowing the paint to run down. Then I rapidly apply the layers of colour, it is the hand which expresses the spirit of the work. My paintings are often completely transformed from one day to the next. I keep track of the different stages, either visibly, or by “overpainting” and through this process of layering, little by little, is born the balance of the finished work. From very large canvases (over 80 inches) to the ‘Mini’ format my technique is always the same: I work with a very wide blade using acrylic and marble powder which gives a nice and matt texture
