Sante Egadi (Born Sante Abbinente) is a self–taught artist. He started painting at 16 years old and has produced and exhibited his work continuously since his youth. Simultaneously he pursued academic studies in economics. The culmination of his studies was a PhD from the University of Salerno, and his habilitation in finance at the University of Foggia. Art and academia came together in his first original expression with the 2012 performance of “Curriculum Vitae”. His work has been shown in the most important Italian cities: in Rome at Galleria Astrolabio, in Florence at Galleria Mentana , and in Milan at ArteGioia107. Il Corriere della Sera, the leading Italian newspaper, named him “The new Jeff Koons” for his unique, irreproducible and original collages "Curriculum Vitae". This included the live “Reconstructed diploma”.
