After doing a series of paintings of Malta I thought I needed to loosen up a bit with some freer, more abstract pieces. I feel this piece evokes a tropical, "lotus eaters" surreal landscape with slightly sinister overtones, but that's just me. Created with sand, spray paint and oils on canvas. It is signed on the back, unframed but ready to hang.
