Octopus is one of my Spirit Animals. I know this because he shows up in many of my paintings. This piece was only meant to be an abstract, but there he was, hiding among the reef and underground volcanoes. The Octopus is a master at adaptation. You can put him in any environment and he will quickly and keenly figure out how to move in harmony with that environment and learn to make it work to his advantage. This painting asks us to be adaptable, to learn how to flow with our environment to create harmony.
