MY ARTISTIC APPROACH Ever since my early age, forms, colours and especially light fascinate me. My great curiosity and my observation skills, lead me first and foremost to explore the lines with my graphite pencils. Afterwards came the colours, through which I learned to express myself using acrylic, dry pastel and even stained glass. It is by combining lines and colors that light took all its meaning. According to my high school art teachers, up to university, creativity is omnipresent with me and for my part, I would say that it is vital. When making my career choice, I opted for a trade full of creativity, while remaining traditional, i.e. commercial interior design. After several years spent in that field, life led me to a completely different thing, because my creativity was not reaching the level that I wanted. Then I started up my own decorative art studio, in order to completely devote myself to creation as well as to the writing of articles in a specialized magazine in addition to the writing of some books related to this field. The teaching of my diverse techniques has occupied an important place for all these years. It was a great success, my company was recognized throughout the province. Unfortunately, after years of regular creations, my body has failed and I had to retire.. Since painting is vital for me, for some years now, I took back my brushes and I'm having fun once again with color, by using different mediums combined with materials which make the light rebound and sculpt it, that light which makes me vibrate. This break period in my life allowed me to explore the meditation path and to further observe the life that surrounds me. My last works reflects this zen, aerial and even astral aspect, that I have discovered in it. They have this daydreaming side that relaxes me and makes me appreciate life every morning. My kind and calm temperament is also reflected in each of my works. It is found in my color blends and in my subjects composed of rounded forms and curved lines that intersect in large movements. Colors vary from one painting to another, depending on the emotions of the moment. I would say that each of my paintings is in some way a surge of passion, that I share wholeheartedly with you and I wish that each of them awakens in you, a wonderful range of emotions as much nuanced as my choice of colors
