My work shows the world beyond race and gender and explores the inner side of humankind using various colors. As an artist, I want to remove prejudice among people based on their appearance and focus more on the inner side of humankind.

Hong Ji-young My name is Hong Ji-young, and I'm an artist from Seoul, South Korea. I first entered the art world in 1995 when I was just 8 years old, and I began my artistic journey as a painter. Since then, I've also become interested in media and installation art, and I'm currently working on several art projects. I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with galleries around the world, including those in New York, London, and Melbourne. My work aims to transcend societal constructs such as race and gender, and instead explores the depths of the human experience through the use of various colors. As an artist, I value diversity and hope to challenge people's preconceived notions based on appearances, and shift the focus to the inner workings of humanity.
