ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Escape VII is a painting of a place created from my imagination. I used a linear perspective for the tiles and arches. I drew with a pencil on the canvas and then added acrylic paint (blue, gold, white, and black). The arches are painted with ochre red. The perspective makes you want to walk into the painting and escape for a while. The painting is signed on the back and ready to hang. It takes 10 to 14 days for the painting to be delivered worldwide.

Zeljka Paic is a graduate of both the Academy of Fine Arts (2015) and the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2011). Since 2017 she has exhibited her paintings internationally, showing her architecture-inspired paintings and sculptures from the series Art Beyond Frames. Her work has been exhibited as far and wide as Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, London, and New York. She was featured in The Guardian’s Future of Art - in Pictures article and picked as one of the top 5 artists by Art Aesthetics Magazine for The Other Art Fair in London in 2017. She received an award from the Association of Innovators of the Republic of Srpska for her contribution to the innovative approach to art, in 2024. Her artworks are collected in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, etc.
