Alissa is a contemporary landscape artist, born in Seoul, Korea, and currently based in North Vancouver, Canada. Her semi-abstract acrylic works capture the tranquility of the West Coast, focusing on conveying her personal impressions of the landscapes rather than providing a literal or detailed representation. Through her subjective interpretation, she transforms the scenery into a collection of fragmented elements using color, shape, and texture. Alissa finds true calm and serenity in front of a canvas. In a world filled with anxiety and division, she hopes her work transports viewers to a place of peace.
