Exit Blue ft. Audrey Hepburn Painting

Audrey Hepburn has been a subject in my work since I started painting. As things progressed, I started to find my style more. I was able to take inspirations from the beginning and apply them to my work in the present. This continued a feeling of consistency for me, Audrey has always been a symbol of beauty in my work. The use of her imagery in my work is also a paradox, in the perspective that beautiful things have to go through things to be beautiful, just like a diamond. I hope that the viewer looks at this painting as a symbol of beauty and perserverance. The title Exit Blue, is derived from the idea of exiting a foggy and unclear mindset. And in conclusion, approaching a positive perspective of beauty, which is where the bright white gates with heavy body metallic gold accents come in.
