I was born April 6, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. I began practicing art at the young age of ten years old, greatly inspired by childhood cartoons and the imagination of color. I continued to pursue art while in high school graduating at the top of the schools art program. I then attended Art Center, College of Design located in Pasadena, California. While in college, I played a large role as the illustrator for a local newspaper. Along with being involved in the paper, I continued painting and illustration, learning and gaining knowledge from well known instructors. After two years I left Art Center and decided to focus entirely on my painting career. Now I reside in Los Angeles, where I am is able to express my talent of art daily and have found my love for abstract expressionism. My paintings are done at one moment, from start to finish, in order to express a certain emotion or feeling towards a point in time. If a painting is done in different times, the painting becomes a false emotion. My art has strong emotion against life on the earth. I believe that art is about expressing yourself through deep emotions. If the viewer is able to "feel", then I feel I have accomplished something through art. In my paintings you will always find lines, polka dots, and sometimes different materials. Over my painting career I have found this distinctive style. It represents me as a person and my emotion towards life. I use ropes, chains, and other materials, to show my strength and free myself from being normal. Such cohesiveness in my paintings show a level of control and deliberation that I have in my life. I believe this is important in an artist life, as this life can become emotionally draining.
