My name is Cankut Kalyoncu. I am the president of Dantatsu Creative Agency located in İstanbul, Ankara, Hong Kong, Dubai and Zurich. My profession is in the field of marketing consultancy. As a brand consultant, i am responsible for ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under their domain resonate with current and potential customers. To do so, these professionals continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace. And also, i am a contemporary abstract artist who is inspired to create expressionist paintings that capture feelings and emotions. My works in mixed media and acrylics to create abstract fine art that is deeply layered and textured. My contemporary art is a form of storytelling from my point view. I capture these stories with colors, gestures, marks and words with my typography style. “Abstract painting is a vehicle to outwardly express the deep inner work of the Spirit in me.” When I begin to work on a piece I do not usually have a finished work in my mind. I may have a shred of an idea to start from, but I never have a plan. I am inspired by emotions, relationships, current events, the natural environment, and most centrally, my point of view in relationship to all of these things.”
