Combining tigers, cheetahs, octopuses, elephants, bears, narwhals, zebras and mandrill monkeys the 6 book marks in this set play a game of what-if and offers visual interpretations of likely answers. Specifically, I'm interested in using the visual idioms of classical style, with their emphasis on accuracy, perspective, and proportionality, in the service of creating representational art that conveys more than a photograph can. While I work with pastels, pencils, and acrylics too, I am partial to watercolours.
