FLOWERNESS Painting

Emiliia Lynnyk is a Ukrainian artist, born in 1988 in Lviv, Ukraine and currently based in Germany. She specializes in romantic surrealistic portraits and still-life. Her work draws deeply from the tapestry of human experiences, weaving together fantasies, dreams, and folk legends from around the world. A passionate explorer of floriography—the language and symbolism of flowers—Emiliia encodes messages within her paintings, using blossoms to portray the complexity of human emotions and personalities. Her work captivates with its narrative depth, offering layers of interpretation for those who look closely. Unlike the romantic floral codes of the 19th century, the artist invites you into the “Secret Garden”—a realm where botanical mysteries offer a sanctuary for introspection and the unbridled expression of emotions. Here, the language of flowers becomes a gateway to exploring the essence of human feelings and experiences, unraveling their profound nature and deeper meaning. Emiliia was twice (2019,2020) chosen as an excellent finalist of International Artist Grand Prize Competition (Gallery award), Taipei, Taiwan, and took part at the International salon at Art Revolution Taipei, Taiwan. She also took part in different group exhibitions in Taiwan, Germany, Spain and Switzerland.
