Eva is a self taught contemporary artist, native to New York City, where she spent her youth studying the works of master artist in the many museums and galleries that were accessible to her. Her abstract works which are predominately completed in acrylics and charcoal are captivating bold with brilliantly chosen palettes were she builds the final composition intuitively through layer upon layer of texture. Prior to picking up the brushes, Eva spent 13 years as a graphic designer and photographer for the US Army, of which her work won many accolades and still enjoys working on projects that marry both her background in photography with graphic design on occasion. Eva currently resides in the mountains of Pennsylvania where she draws inspirations from the surrounding nature and spends every moment she can in her private studio, brushes in hand.
