This painting originated as a candles in the windows painting, however I was not happy with it and one night I decided to do something about it. After I finished it I looked at it and I was finally happy with it. The very first people that saw the painting were my parents and the first thing my father said was " WOW what is it" "What do you mean", I asked. It's a moonlight. What I did not know is that the very first thing my father saw in it was the image of the face on the moon. I brought the painting home , I hanged it on the wall in the living room and then I looked at it from the angle from my kitchen and then I said to myself " I see a face on that moon" My father was right , when looking at the moon from the angle the face is very visible but somewhat it is hidden behind the moon. My intentions were not to paint the face but to paint the moonlight and somehow that face just came up. To me it looks more like a woman's face and it is hidden within the moon .

Welcome to my gallery! My artworks begin with a desire to try something new and are driven by passionate, fervorous feelings inspired by nature, current events, and animals. I do not believe in starting at the end, and so I oppose starting a painting with the end-image in mind. Instead, I treat each layer as an adventure. As the experiment unfolds on the canvas, I am provided with a starting frequency which I can then embellish with more general overtones as well as more detailed oscillations to connect my thoughts into the artwork and channel my own energy. In this way, Nature and I create the artwork hand in hand. Nature does not have a color palette; rather, the universe is filled with infinitely more colors than we can see with the naked eye. I, therefore, utilize an enormous range of hues, temperatures, and sheens, from vivid to dark, glossy to matte, and warm to cool, all within the same artwork. I also do not tolerate "flat" art. I heavily use various mediums or even make my own to impart a wide range of textures into my artworks, making them "pop" out from the canvas with ridges, crevices, hills, and walls. I also use glazes and resin to embed glass beads, Mica powders, custom-made acrylic polymers, and natural wonders such as seashells. In addition to painting, I also create lighted sculptures with ocean and nature themes using hand-melted customized plexiglass, alcohol inks, and glass beads. My sculptures complement my vivid paintings and allow me to explore the theme of tropical nature in an extra dimension. While I have a very open mind and am willing to try anything that is new, I do have my favorite techniques, colors, and ideas. I particularly love fluid art techniques and applying pencil-thin lines of paint with a very fine tip applicator for extreme detail. I also love vivid vitrails, metallic/iridescent pigments, and bright fluorescents, since they channel my inner joy and excitement for life. My favorite topics to explore through art include the tropical paradise of the Amazon rainforest and dissociative states of mind. I live in Florida where I am surrounded by pristine nature, bright skies, and endless sunshine, providing me with even more inspiration to create art. Art is made to last an entirety. I, therefore, make my canvases with kiln-dried pine wood which is exceptionally sturdy and resists warping. I stretch high-quality heavy cotton and use a three-step priming system to achieve a naturally tight and even stretch.
