ABOUT THE ARTWORK
🎨This art work is a new look at the art work of Maria Prymachenko. 🎨When I decided to create works in this style, I had already been studying the Ukrainian ancient Trypillian culture and its symbolism in ceramics, jewelry and other artifacts for many years. 🎨I also spent a long time studying and practicing painting symbols on egg shells using a special unique Ukrainian technique called Pisankarstvo. 🎨I also got acquainted with the works of Ukrainian painters in the Ethnic style and in the Naive style such as Katerina Bilokur, Maria Prymachenko, Marfa Timchenko and others. 🎨The Naive style in which I write my works is a style of simple forms, pure colors, disrupted perspective, where the plots are based on folk symbols and folklore. 🎨This world seems very simple at first glance, but the imagination pulsates with bizarre images and bright colors that set a certain rhythm and create a mood. 🎨This is a kind of the magical world of thinking when individual self-consciousness and the collective unconscious are combined. 🎨This is a kind of fairy-tale world of fantastic animals and plants, bearing certain images and symbols, a certain code of the nation, its history and traditions. It reflects the attitude of a nation to this world and to other worlds. 🎨This style is very bright, rich, very symbolic, emotionally positive, creative, modern, minimalistic and fits into any interior because it stands out for its brightness and laconicism.
