ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painted in acrylic on 250gsm paper. I often use Pinterest to seek out interesting images that might inspire a painting. In this instance I got distracted by the fashion ads it served up to me and the wildly colourful outfits sported by some of the girls (and boys) at Fashion Week. In particular I like the guy in the middle with the pink hair and wild sweater, so he crops up in a few of my Fashionista paintings. Reminds me a little of . I modelled for a few years when I was young and this one reminds me of that happy time when we were all dressing to be noticed. (I've still got some crazy outfits in my wardrobe!)
