Paula Piquet is a 30-year-old Uruguayan self-taught artist and architect. ​ More than 10 years ago she founded Decopiq, the brand and refuge behind her original paintings. Today it is a referent in the arts in Uruguay. Sensitive and curious, Paula interprets nature and captures it abstractly in her works, redefining shapes, colors and textures. What she enjoys the most about her creations is the transformation that each piece undergoes when she intervenes them, generating a story and emotions behind it. Her restless and creative personality has led her to explore the world of art, trying new techniques and materials over the years. Through the incessant observation and investigation of new trends and artistic practices, Paula has achieved unique works of superior quality. She works in different collections, each one of them developed in a particular technique, but always with her well-defined style. Decopiq is currently a family business dedicated to decorative art. Although their most popular pieces are paintings, they have developed new pieces such as sculptures, lamps and more.
