About The Artwork
It's not often that I think I get all of the boxes checked on a painting. This one is an exception. I really like it. I started "Fire and Ice" with muted blue/gray, added pale peach and blue and then finished it off with dark gray(nearly black) and bright red for a little pop of color. The result is a calm and peaceful landscape. The colors work well together and if it was larger, I'd be keeping it to go above my sofa. 20" x 20" professional grade acrylic on stretched canvas with painted, staple free sides that is finished with a satin protective coat of varnish.
