Fish Troop Painting

In this painting, I was inspired by the paintings of Victor Vasarely that produce some kind of movement created by optical illusion. Therefore, I created an abstract painting made of 25 regular circles representing the fish troop. Nowadays, we hear a lot about the sea pollution, and thus I decided to divide each "fish" in two equal parts. One part represents the normal, healthy , white fish meat, whilst the other part is grey and symbolizes the sea pollution and all the plastics and unnatural things the fishes are accidentally eating. The black spaces regularly leaning around some circles are seen as the sea waves or better sea currents the troop is going through or that are made by its movement. The angle of the division of the circles just emphasizes that it is a troop and therefore, as all the animal troops or groups, it represents the direction of the movement of the fishes.
