Do you yearn for paintings that are strikingly unique? Do you want to enhance your space with warmth, optimism, and excitement. Do you want to go big? Look no further. Embracing the imperfect these innovative creations allow for variations in the individual paint pieces. Flowerbombs are alternative, edgy, and bursting with dimensional colour. Swirling multi-coloured paint petals captivate with their vivid hues and lush textures, evoking the vibrant, pulsating energy of life in bloom. For the collector who does not like to play it safe. These works are available separately but together they pack a powerful punch and dynamic visual that will create an imaginative statement piece on your walls. The works are fitted with two sets of D-rings and wire for immediate vertical or horizontal hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Statement “When the paint is dry my work is just beginning”. The thought that paint could be capable of independence from the canvas has been the driving force behind Julee’s art practice. It led to her process of creating paintings on plastic waiting for the paint to dry before she removes it. The unsupported material has an inherent flexibility that allows Julee to investigate her interest in textile, collage, and sculptural techniques. Through cutting, layering, moulding, weaving, and gluing, each creation is the result of many hours of meticulous and detailed work. An artist since childhood, Julee holds a BFA (Sculpture and Painting) from Curtin University, Perth. She is also the author of the book Sculptural Secrets for Mosaic (Schiffer Publishing Ltd, USA). Her works can be found in collections, both public and private, worldwide.
