Sheetal Singh is a New Delhi-based multidisciplinary artist. For more than a decade her paintings, collages, and sculptures have captivated viewers. Her entrancing figurative and abstract works bring forth the long forgotten eras of the past into the contemporary through her signature inventive reimaginings. Her journey began as a simple passion. A childhood hobby inspired her to learn the skills and methodologies of a variety of other mediums where she can draw on her fascination with design, architecture, and culture. Today, she has an established studio where she continues on her path of experimentation, constantly testing new and innovative techniques as well as pushing the boundaries of her practice with mediums such as mosaics, mixed media, acrylic skins, and plaster sculptures. To date, she has sold over 100 original works including international sales to prominent figures at Goldman Sachs and DLF Golf Resorts as well as actors and celebrities. Singh has exhibited extensively across the New Delhi art scene with solo and group exhibitions at institutions including the India Habitat Center, Lokataya Art Gallery, Gold Souk Mall, Lalit Kala Academy, Club Aralias, and Art Konsult Gallery. Singh’s work is about making connections. With each piece, she calls on something in herself that she hopes will speak to those who view her works. Singh is eager to expand and share her visions of these aesthetically mesmerizing interminglings of the past and present with a new global audience.
