This picture with a misty forest as a symbol of what is happening in my life right now. Since the beginning of the war, all my plans and dreams have become irrelevant and unfeasible, the future looks foggy. But I know it's not forever. And I draw strength for the struggle in nature, in its power, tranquility and peace. Author's style. The painting is made in professional watercolor on cotton paper. Because some watercolors have a coarse pigment, a beautiful granulation effect is created. I really love and appreciate this effect in watercolors, it allows you to create an imitation of the texture of leather, stone, metal and creates the illusion of detail. Maria Kiseleva was born in a small town, and at the age of 6 she moved to Moscow, where she lived most of her life. In 2012, she graduated from the Peoples' Friendship University with a degree in general medicine, then studied for another 2 years as a pediatrician and neonatologist. Then in 2016 there was a move to Germany and the study of a new profession. An active career as an artist began in 2020, when Maria began to develop her social networks, register in online galleries and participate in exhibitions. Her paintings began to be noticed and bought. Maria switched to a full-time job, constantly writing new paintings. At the moment there are several series that continue to be replenished with new paintings. At the moment, Maria paints with watercolors and acrylics, textures and surface contrast are a distinguishing feature. The main themes of creativity are motherhood, acceptance of one's body, unity with nature and harmony.
